Coleman has done a perfect job of making this pop-up tent. Most people want pop-up tents because they can be assembled quickly so keeping that thing in mind Coleman has created this tent, believe me, you can assemble it within 15 seconds and that’s a great thing.

Things We Liked

As I said this pop-up tent is built for its easy set-up. You can set a scene within 10 to 15 seconds.

This tent comes with a spacious interior, 2 – 4 people can fit inside the tent.

This pop-up tent comes with a Weathertec system which includes welded floors and inverted seams that helps to keep water out. Here once again the company has done a great job in keeping the water out of the tent.

The tent is also lightweight and easy to transport from one place to another. The tent is also easy to pack, making it a better option for backpacking and camping trips.

Things We Don’t Liked

As you know pop-up tents don’t fit in the category in which the tents can survive high winds and bad weather conditions. That’s why this tent also doesn’t perform well in bad weather conditions. There are no vestibules or porch areas present in the tent for storing extra items, and because of that, you have picked some extra luggage with you.

It’s not also a durable tent, but because it is a lightweight and pop-up tent that can be assembled in seconds that’s the reason it’s not that much durable.

This pop-up tent is made up of single-layer material that may not be able to provide enough insulation in cold weather temperatures.

Overall, the cons of the tents are common in other pop-up tents also, because the pop-up tents are specially built to make pitching tents easy. So, that’s why you have to compromise in some fields.

The tent is the best choice for car or festival camping.

Teton Sports Vista Quick Tent

TETON Sports Vista Quick Tent; Dome Camping and Backpacking Tent; Easy Instant Setup; Clip-On Rainfly Included
  • Material: Polyester, taffeta
  • Occupancy: 2 Person
  • Product Dimension: 82″L x 60″W x 41″H
  • Seasons: 3 Season

The use of taffeta and micro mesh in the construction of this pop-up tent makes it special. With its durable micro mesh and basic waterproof rainfly. This pop-up tent also helps in keeping you dry. It has a full mesh top that makes for a delightful experience. Furthermore, it has an upgraded pulse system with a locking hub to keep your tent upright. Also, there is a built-in gear loft for your phone, flashlights, and other items in this pop-up tent.

Things We Liked

As it is a pop-up tent setting up this tent is as easy, also taking it down is easy. It is a lightweight and compact tent so it will be easy to carry this tent with you. Up to 2 people can fit inside this tent but that doesn’t mean this tent has a small interior. This pop-up tent has a spacious interior for 2 people, not more than that or this tent will not be enough for you if you’re more than 2 people going camping.

The tent also comes with rainfly so you don’t need to purchase it from somewhere else. This tent also has a durable and sturdy construction that makes it a long-lasting tent. The mesh windows and doors provide good airflow and help in the reduction of condensation. And last but not least, this tent will be available at an affordable price.

Things We Don’t Liked

If the tent has tons of pros that don’t mean that it doesn’t have some drawbacks. Every tent has its benefits and loss that you have to face and its first drawback is it doesn’t have too many features it’s just a simple tent. Another disadvantage is it’s not that much spacious as other tents because it is a 2-person tent and can’t fit more than 2 people inside it. Another Drawback is this tent is not built for bad weather conditions. Yeah, it comes with a rainfly but that doesn’t make this tent completely weather resistant.

Overall, if you are looking for a pop-up tent that is best for backpacking then Teton Sports Vista Quick Tent is the best choice for you.

AYAMAYA Pop-Up Tent

6 Person Easy Pop Up Tents for Camping - AYAMAYA Double Layer Waterproof Instant Tent with Vestibule & Porch, Large Size Family Tent Automatic Setup for 4-6 People Camping Hiking (Poles Included)
  • Material: Polyester
  • Occupancy: 6 Person

  • Seasons: 4 Season

This pop-up tent is made up of 190T polyester. Its ground material is made from 210D Oxford and its window cover is made from 3000-millimeter waterproof PU-coated polyester. It also features heated seal seams in the connection area that help prevent leaking water. It also has two front doors, rear hooded vents, and four side windows that provide airflow for cross ventilation and prevent condensation.

The side that has a large mesh can allow for continuous airflow. Both windows and doors come with double panels, and because of that you can close the outer fabric for the cold nights, and can be rolled up and fixed by buckles. It’s large enough that it can fit up to 3-4 camp pads.

Things We Liked

This tent does a great job with the weather. The vents keep the tent as cool as a tent can be in warm and dry weather. Although when it gets to freezing temps it is going to be quite cold inside the tent so prepare accordingly, it does protect the wind from entering in the cold. The initial setup is easier than you can expect.

Another thing we liked is that the rain fly is integrated, no second stage of set-up is needed is a huge plus point in this tent, especially in windy weather. Also impressive is it’s very light when compared to other easy-set-up tents. Overall looks well built few details may be a problem but overall setup and takedown (with practice) is a pretty easy one-man job.

Things We Don’t Liked

Some owners reported that the strap on the bag and the zipper broke off on their first attempt. Secondly, the built-in rainfly is not sealed in the interlock area. Where the inside of the tent has a “bathtub” flooring similar to all tents, the interlock is completely open where the fly meets the flooring. Meaning that there is nothing preventing water from entering the area on the bottom where you would want to leave your shoes/clothes, etc.

Overall the tent is a pretty good size, Also, this has openings all over the place for ventilation that you can’t seal. It should be good for warm weather camping, but I wouldn’t want to be in this thing if the temperature dropped below 40 F at night. I would recommend this pop-up tent is best for casual camping.

Coleman Sundome Camping Tent

  • Material: Polyester, Fabric
  • Occupancy: 2/3/4/6 Person
  • Product Dimension: 108″L x 84″W x 59″H
  • Seasons: 3 Season

This tent is constructed of 75-denier polyester mesh. And a polyester taffeta flysheet with a 75-denier fabric that makes up flysheet. This tent’s floor is constructed from polyethylene. Putting up this 2-person camping tent is quick and simple. Large windows and a ground vent let this tent blow air up and out, keeping you comfortable.

Also, it has the revolutionary WeatherTech system’s welded flooring and inverted seams, which keep you dry in slick conditions. It has a strong structure and can resist gusts of up to 35 mph thanks to its fast clip-pull attachment. Also, it has a tough poly guard 2x double-thick fabric that is made to withstand the weather.

Things We Liked

The setup is easy even though the size of the tent is large but that doesn’t affect its set-up difficulty. This is an excellent tent to use for taking the family camping for the weekend in nice weather. It comes with an excellent full tarp liner for the bottom, is spacious, and offers plenty of headroom (I still recommend placing another ground tarp down before setting up the tent to avoid any rips or tears in the bottom of the tent). This tent is great if you’re going on a multi-day float trip or if you’re camping somewhere where your car is handy and weight is not a big deal. This tent is also bigger than you expect. And the company has done a good job in the waterproofness of the tent.

Things We Don’t Liked

It is not a tent for cold weather. I used this tent while camping for several nights during a trip to the Spanish Peaks in Colorado. We tented at 10K feet in mid of May. We were cold as the temperature dropped to the low 20s Fahrenheit during the night, and the high winds would pass straight through this tent. This tent is ideal for warm environments because of its huge mesh ceiling, tall ceiling, and large breathable mesh hole on the back wall. It does not trap heat; rather, it releases it. It breathes too much for cold or windy conditions.

Overall, I would suggest if you don’t have a large family just a cute small family go for this tent. This tent is ideal for family camping but only for warm environments.

Coleman Cabin Tent

Coleman Camping Tent with Instant Setup, 4/6/8/10 Person Weatherproof Tent with WeatherTec Technology, Double-Thick Fabric, and Included Carry Bag, Sets Up in 60 Seconds
  • Material: Polyester, Fabric
  • Occupancy: 4/6/10 Person
  • Seasons: 4 Season

When it’s time to travel home, the Coleman cabin tent packs up into the included extendable carrying bag for a quick and simple setup. Also, it has a weathertech system with unique corner welds and sealed seams that, alongside the tub-like floors, help you stay dry. Also, this tent has darkroom technology, which prevents 90% of sunlight from entering and 10% lowers temperature buildup. This tent can survive the hardships of the outdoors because it is built of tough poly guard 2x double thick fabric.

Things We Liked

This tent can fit up to a queen-sized air mattress and end tables quite well, plus a camping chair and storage totes. The floor is also made up of trap material and has held up well to constant dirt, foot traffic, and dragging things along it. The Darkroom technology will help you have a night of better sleep and protection from the sun. The rain fly is also fantastic because it uses velcro to attach itself to the tent poles in addition to connecting to the tent stake-down points and having its stake-down lines. Also, you already have the seams sealed. Furthermore, I prefer the zippered opening for an extension cord to velcro or folded tent material. This is just as simple to store as it is to set up, and there is plenty of room in the bag to put it back in. A normal-sized adult may easily carry it alone without hurting their back because it is also relatively light for such a big tent. While camping if the rain starts the tent has good technology, it may leak a bit but that might not be a big problem.

It can protect you from rain but that doesn’t mean you don’t need to take any kind of precautions. If you are going to camp where there are chances of having bad weather you have to take a spray with you to protect yourself. Even if you use it to spray the tent, it might leak from the bottom of the window’s seams if the rain last for a long time. Also, the tent poles tend to twist and bend occasionally, making it challenging to stretch the poles or fold the tent. This tent won’t fit into the bag as easily.

Things We Don’t Liked

After all, this tent is our overall best choice to pick because it has several sizes and that makes it best for a family. It has good weather resistance as compared to other tents. This tent doesn’t have that much weight compared to its size, an adult can easily pick it up. And it fits many other conditions, which you can find out when you test this tent.

A lot of Pop-up tents will have large windows for ventilation. But they are not good at condensation in cold temperatures and where there is a high level of humidity. So when to ignore it?

Instant Cabin Tent

What makes a tent an Instant Cabin Tent?

You can justify it with the help of its shape. These are square or rectangular shaped tents and big size of side walls giving a lot of space for headroom. It gets its structure from large telescoping aluminum poles that attach to a center disk. The poles are sewn into braided straps on the outside of the tent floor and you can extend the poles or unfold them. The frame of the Instant Cabin Tent is on the outside of the tent. Some large Instant Cabin tents have some extra poles that run on the side walls for some extra support.

Cabin Tents

It’s easy to set up. You can set up it within 5 to 7 minutes. These types of tents are best set up with 2 people

PROS

These tents have a lot of space inside them, you can also walk around inside the tent. Because of its vertical walls, you can consume all the space inside the tent. These types of tents tend to handle high winds situations very well. They are also good in bad weather conditions. Cabin Tents are super easy to set up even for beginners you can set up these tents in a few minutes.

CONS

Cabin tents are very large, they take up a large space in your car when you are heading to the campsite. It also takes up a fair amount of space in your garage or storage.

It contains large vents on the top, and because of that they are not good at condensation or when there is a temperature drop off at night. It has very little breathability. If the weather is good, I recommend you open those windows to allow airflow. But still, your gears are going to end up damp and that is because of condensation. I will recommend you don’t take these types of tents to bad weather places.
