1. They are available at many big box stores, so it’s very easy to get one for yourself.
2. These tents are available at an affordable price. If you are a beginner and don’t want to invest so much, you can get a dome-style tent for you.
3. They handle bad weather conditions pretty well including high winds and heavy rainfall.
4. It gets its structure from a flexible interlocking frame that supports the main body of the tent. These tents have two or three interlocking shock-corded poles and they are hollow fiberglass or hollow aluminum tubes with metal housing connectors on each end that allows them to interlock together. When they get interlocked they create a thin flexible pole about an eighth of an inch to a quarter of an inch in diameter that’s tucked into the pocket or pin at the corner of the tent floor and arched across the tent to the opposite corner. When the tent poles cross they create an arch effect which becomes the frame of the tent. Arches are one of the strongest shapes used in construction and engineering. So having two or three arches built into the framing is a key factor in the dome tent to hold up the high winds and snow.

The structure of the tent is very breathable and waterproofing comes from the 2nd wall of the tent. This component is critical when it comes to dealing with condensation.
